“Account” – your personal environment created when you register for the Service.

“Service” – the MOVINYL mobile application and related services used to catalog and organize vinyl records.

“User Content” – any information, images, text, ratings, notes or other content you upload or submit through the Service.

“Collection Data” – data about your record collection, including titles, artists, formats, purchase dates, locations, notes and ratings.

“Database” – the collection of metadata and other information made available by MOVINYL and/or its partners within the Service.

MOVINYL is a mobile application for vinyl collectors to catalog, discover, and discuss records. By using MOVINYL, you agree to these Terms of Use.

MOVINYL provides tools to catalog and manage your vinyl collection. MOVINYL does not provide or sell any audio recordings or downloads, and does not enable playback of full tracks. Any links to external music services are provided for convenience only.

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by law) to use MOVINYL.

We use:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You may delete your account anytime from the app or by contacting contact@movinyl.app.
• You can also request deletion of all associated personal data at any time.

• MOVINYL owns all rights to its software, design, and branding.
• You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant MOVINYL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, display and distribute such content within the Service and in reasonable marketing materials for the Service (for example, screenshots, feature descriptions), until you remove the content or delete your account.

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

You agree not to:

• upload copyrighted content you do not own;
• use MOVINYL for illegal activity;
• interfere with the app’s normal operation;
• upload, share, or publish any content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, abusive, violent, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for users under 18;
• upload or share extremist, discriminatory, or dangerous content;
• upload or distribute malware, spam, or any content that may harm devices or the platform.

MOVINYL reserves the right to remove any violating content at any time and without prior notice.

In cases of severe or repeated violations, MOVINYL may permanently suspend or delete the user’s account and all associated data and content, without the possibility of recovery.

MOVINYL may use third-party APIs (Discogs).
All data from these sources remains the property of their respective owners.

MOVINYL is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party entities whose trademarks or names may appear in informational contexts.

• Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
• Prices and terms are available in the app stores.
• No refunds for partial subscription periods.
• Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through the user’s Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

MOVINYL is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
We are not responsible for data loss, service interruption, damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application, or third-party data inaccuracies.

You are solely responsible for making backup copies of your collection data. MOVINYL does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the results (including metadata from third parties) will be accurate, up-to-date or complete.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Latvian courts.
